KeyNest

KeyNest solved key exchange without hardware on the door: a network of thousands of shops, cafes, and convenience stores acting as secure key pickup points, primarily across the UK and Europe. Hosts drop a key at a nearby location; guests collect with a code; every movement is logged. It shines exactly where smart locks fail, heritage buildings, strict landlords, intercom-entry apartments, and as the backup plan when batteries die or codes glitch. Per-collection or subscription pricing keeps it cheap insurance even for hosts running keyless as primary.
